We provide software development services as and when required. This includes the following projects:
BRINtronic automatic Brinell microscope: the software is developed in Borland C++ for backwards compatibility, it includes serial comms to a control board and handheld microscope where the images are processed in real-time. The main software function is image analysis - in addition to software development and design skills this has required in-depth understanding of computational differential calculus, statistical methods and creation of high speed trigonometric functions.
Research embedded system: using Microsoft XPE and associated building tools.
National Physical laboratory of India, National Standard Brinell deadweight calibration machine: development of the user interface. Creation of a comms package to a Heidenhein micrometer device and the motors provided by Control Techniques, built to comply with EN ISO 6506-3.
