Systems Architecture and Design
We are experienced in helping our clients tackle issues that they have encountered or tasks they have been set. We can work through every stage of a software project to provide a successful solution, or come in at any point of the process. We can provide the technical solutions as well as the user interface and business linkages. As well as working for companies such as British Airways, RIO TINTO and Barclays Bank we also work for less well known but leading companies in their field such as Foundrax Engineering in metallurgy and Isograph in Reliabilty Engineering Software. At a more local level we have a range of sole trader and SME clients which we are always pleased to assist.
Training
We are happy to provide user training for any software we build. In addition, our experts can be hired by the day to provide a range of courses from MS Office products, Engineering Mathematics and Software Development techniques to bespoke training on a clients internal software packages. Our experts are regularly called back to provide further training courses for companies such as Learning Tree, QinetiQ and BAE Systems.
Our MS Office and Project trainer is Microsoft Certified, with many years IT training and training management experience. We have worked on many projects at all stages of the training lifecycle, both in training delivery and project management capacities.
Encryption and Engineering Mathematics
Our consultants have key mathematical development and modelling expertise working within both the scientific and engineering fields. In addition, we can provide specific expertise in encryption having worked on large scale multinational market projects. Key skills include Encrypted Packet Transfer over HTTP, PKI, Adaption of OpenSSL Code, TLS, Microsoft Cryptography API and Customised Certificate Authority.
Software Development
Since their general inception we have developed in Visual C++ and MFC (OOD) on MS Windows and have used Visual Basic, C and C# including work on UNIX platforms for the past decade. We are frequently been asked back to help with new challenges. Complimentary skills sets we are well versed in include: .NET, ATL, STL, COM, XML/XSLT, Unicode, SQL Server, HTML, FTP, ActiveX, ODBC and TCP/IP.
Documentation
We can provide all levels of documentation from detailed designs and documented code through to printed user guides and on-line help. Paper or electronic/web based training materials can also be produced.
We have been involved for many years in developing help (Robohelp, HTML and MS Word), user guides (MS Word and PDF format) and on-line demos (using Camtasia) for World Leading Engineering Software Products as well as clients such as the Planning Inspectorate.
